He was born December 21, 1931 in St. Marys, PA a son of the late Raymond and Barbara Mahovlich Reed. On September 28, 1957 in St. Mark Catholic Church he married the late Nancy Schwab. George served with the US Army during the Korean Conflict were he received a Korean Service Medal with 1 Bronze Star.
Years ago she worked at GTE Sylvania and SEARS in Emporium. Michael M. Priest, 68, of Clear Creek Rd., Emporium, PA passed away at Embassy of Hearthside, State College, PA on Saturday evening . He was born February 21, 1954 in St. Marys, PA a son of the late Maynard and Ina Haight Priest. On March 8, 1980 in he married Deborah Wilson, who survives. Mike graduated from Cameron County High School. He retired from GKN where he worked for many years.

When they began their life together both were empty nesters and enjoyed spending their weekends at their lake cabin on Lake Madison. They were always entertaining anyone who showed up and everyone was welcome to enjoy their hospitality. Jim and Penny met in the summer of 1976 and married in 1981.
